Chiropractic is an allied health profession that specialises in the diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of disorders of the neuro-musuoloskeletal system. Along with other techniques; Chiropractors specialise in spinal manipulation or adjustments. The word 'chiropractic' comes from the Greek words Cheir and praxis which simply means 'done by hand'. All Australian Chiropractors undergo a minimum of 5 years University training and are registered via the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
